If you are staying long enough, we would recommend a drive to nearby destinations like Dhanaulti (13Km), Landour /Mussoorie (47Km) or Tehri Dam (36Km) where you can indulge in activities like Jet skiing, banana boat ride, paragliding etc or Rishikesh (79km) if you are fond of river rafting.
Dhanaulti Eco-park

Tehri Dam

The highest dam in India and one of the highest in the world, Tehri Dam offers a sight that is both astounding and magnificent. It serves as the world's biggest hydro electrical project drawing water from two great rivers of the Himalayas- Bhagirathi and Bhilangana. Tehri Dam is responsible for supplying water for irrigation and daily chores along with the generation of 1,000 megawatts of hydroelectricity. Apart from serving the village nearby, Tehri Dam also fulfils the purpose of being a great tourist destination in Garhwal. People visit the place to witness the scenic beauty of the hilly area alongside which they get to indulge themselves in activities like jet skiing, water zorbing, and rafting.

Mussoorie

This hill station, situated in the foothills of the Himalaya ranges, is also known as the Queen of the Hills. Although Mussoorie, as a hill station, was established only as back as in 1823, it has quite an intriguing past.
An idyllic stroll through any of the meandering mountain roads of the town, on a clear and sunny day will bring you to some of the well known and not so well known spots - each with its own tales to tell - Landour Bazaar, Chaar dukaan, Lal tibba, Gun hill, the Camel Back cemetery etc.
Rishikesh
